 GEAR Board Positions and Responsibilities

When at race events help run that day’s event, including set up and tear down. Need to work in positions or training of new people during events. Most of all to be on GEAR board is to help and commit to help the track and kids of EPBMX. To step and fill any position you can to help improve our track and facility. Many jobs I am sure I have forgot, we all will have to step up to do for the kids. If we all do this will be better for OUR track J Many jobs will decide by current board and assigned to responsible person by that board.

Secretary~ to fill any position that is needed at the track during race events�Help with paper work involved to run EPBMX. To keep track of all points, GEAR, Full moon attendance etc. �Find at least two others to help maintain all the points for EPBMX riders. �To help in management of concessions, including scheduling and training of concession stand volunteers. �Responsible for purchasing of concession stand supplies.�To find all volunteers when Race Director cant, for that days race events like, track officials, stager, starter, finish    line etc.�Keep track of volunteer record and issue any coupons if necessary.Bylaws Secretary.  The Secretary shall attend all sessions of the Board of Directors and all meetings of the members, and record all votes and the minutes of all proceedings in a book to be kept for that purpose and shall perform like duties for the Board of Directors.  The Secretary shall give, or cause to be given, notice of all meetings of the members and of the Board of Directors, unless such notice be waived, and shall perform such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board of Directors under whose supervision the Secretary shall be.

The  Emery Park BMX G.E.A.R. Board would like to welcome you to our track!

We have G.E.A.R. meetings periodically. They are usually at the track. Please come and join us!

You can join the volunteer parent organization from this site and bring your form to registration.

The track is run TOTALLY by volunteers.

The kids need active parent's to run the track so they are able to race.

With out parents involvement there would be no racing at EPBMX!

So please volunteer for all the kids of our track.

We welcome all suggestions and ideas.

Email us , call or better yet come the G.E.A.R. meeting to give your ideas and suggestions.
Before you complain, remember this track is a volunteer organization. Parents, who volunteer, volunteer for their kids and YOUR kids. Get involved and support the kids of our track. If you dislike something or you think it should be change Come to G.EA.R. Meetings. Please volunteer and get involved!

Without volunteers there would be no racing or Emery Park BMX.
